Price Beat Guarantee — We Will Not Be Beaten on Price

At McLernons Business Base, we are committed to providing the best commercial value. If you receive a lower written quote or find a cheaper advertised price, we will beat it! To ensure a fair comparison, our Price Beat Guarantee is subject to the following straightforward conditions:

  • Comparable Product Quality: The competitor’s product must be of equivalent specification and construction standards (e.g., 25mm tops, solid backs).
  • Written Quote Requirement: You must provide a current written competitor quote dated within the last 7 days.
  • Standard Pricing Only: The guarantee applies to standard advertised or quoted pricing. It excludes stock liquidations, clearance items, promotional offers, and limited-time specials.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Valid for purchases made via Cash, Credit Card, Company Cheque, or Bank Cheque. Credit account terms and COD (Cash on Delivery) are excluded.
  • Office Furniture Range: This guarantee applies strictly to our office furniture range and excludes delivery, freight, assembly, or installation charges.

Welcome to McLernons Business Base. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing products from our website or engaging our services. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. General Purchase Terms

Payment Terms
Full payment is required within 24 hours of placing your order unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is not received within this timeframe:

  • The order may be automatically cancelled.
  • Products may be returned to stock and made available for sale to other customers.

Exclusions
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing:

  • Pricing does not include delivery or freight charges.
  • Pricing does not include assembly or installation services.
  • These terms do not apply to custom-made commercial furniture or bespoke joinery items, which are subject to separate agreements.

Credit Card Fees
Standard merchant and credit card transaction fees may apply to purchases made via credit card.

2. Warranty Assessment Terms

Where a service technician attends your commercial site to inspect, test, or assess a reported product issue, the following conditions apply:

Valid Warranty Claims
If the issue is investigated and confirmed as a genuine manufacturer or warranty-related fault:

  • No call-out fee or assessment fee will apply.

Non-Warranty Issues
If the issue is determined to be caused by misuse, wear-and-tear, or any other factor not covered under the manufacturer's warranty:

  • A flat $60 call-out fee will apply.

Rectification & Repair Work
Where repairs, replacement parts, or corrective works are required outside of standard warranty coverage:

  • An official quotation will be provided to the client prior to any works commencing.
  • No repair works will be undertaken until payment for the approved quotation has been received in full.
  • Applies only to our office furniture product range.
