Welcome to McLernons Business Base. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing products from our website or engaging our services. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

General Purchase Terms

Payment Terms

Full payment is required within 24 hours of placing your order unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If payment is not received within this timeframe:

  • The order may be automatically cancelled
  • Products may be returned to stock and made available for sale to other customers

Exclusions

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • Pricing does not include delivery
  • Pricing does not include assembly or installation services
  • These terms do not apply to custom-made furniture or bespoke joinery items, which may be subject to separate agreements and conditions

Credit Card Fees

Standard merchant and credit card transaction fees may apply to purchases made via credit card.

Warranty Assessment Terms

Where a technician attends site to inspect or assess a reported issue, the following conditions apply:

Valid Warranty Claims

If the issue is confirmed as a warranty-related fault:

  • No call-out fee will apply

Non-Warranty Issues

If the issue is determined not to be covered under warranty:

  • A $60 call-out fee will apply

Rectification Work

Where repairs or corrective works are required outside warranty coverage:

  • A quotation will be provided prior to works commencing
  • No repair works will be undertaken until payment for the approved quotation has been received in full

Price Beat Guarantee

McLernons Business Base is committed to offering competitive pricing through our Price Beat Guarantee, subject to the following conditions:

Comparable Product Quality

The competitor’s product must be of comparable specification and quality, including but not limited to:

  • 25mm tops
  • Solid backs
  • Equivalent materials and construction standards

Competitor Standard Pricing

The comparison must be based on the competitor’s standard advertised or quoted pricing.

The Price Beat Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Clearance items
  • Promotional offers
  • Limited-time specials
  • Liquidation pricing

Written Quote Requirement

Customers must provide:

  • A current written competitor quote
  • Dated within the last 7 days

Accepted Payment Methods

For purchases under the Price Beat Guarantee, accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash
  • Credit card
  • Company cheque
  • Bank cheque

The following are not accepted:

  • COD (Cash on Delivery)
  • Credit account terms

Exclusions

The Price Beat Guarantee:

  • Does not include assembly or installation costs
  • Does not include delivery or freight charges
  • Applies only to our office furniture product range
